1. Water method:
In this method, you need to mix only one teaspoon of honey in
one glass of water. Stir gently in a glass of water with a teaspoon of honey.
If you see honey mixing with water, then you must understand that this honey is
not real honey. And if the honey is real, then the honey will not mix with the
water but will spread in the water in the form of small lumps. However, in
this method, if you mix a little adulterated with real honey, it will not be
easily understand
2. Ant method:
Ants like sweet things but do not like honey. Put some honey
on a piece of paper and leave it where the ants are. If ants are attracted to
this paper and surround it, then this honey is not real honey! And if the ants
are not attracted, and do not surround it, you will understand that it is
really real honey.
3. Clothing stain method:
To test this method, first, take a piece of white cloth that
you may not use again. Now put a little honey directly on the cloth. When dry,
wash with water. If the stain goes away after washing in water, then you will
understand that it is real. Fake honey / adulterated honey will stain your
clothes, which is not the case with real honey.
4. Deep freeze method:
Put honey in a deep fridge for a day. Take out the honey
after one day, if it is real honey, then not even a small part of it will
freeze. If the whole thing is frozen or some part is frozen or the lower part
is frozen, then understand that it has adulteration. Real honey does not
freeze.
5. Fire test:
For this test, you will need a little cotton wool. Put a
little honey on one end of it. Now set fire here. Three results can come from
here.
- The fire will not burn: By this, you will understand that the honey is completely fake and it has a lot of water in it. As a result, the fire is not burning.
- The fire will burn, but there will be a crackling sound: this will mean that the honey is real, there is only water mixed inside. The more noise, the more water.
- The fire will burn, there will be no sound: I don't think I have to say that if this happens then you will understand that this honey is real honey.
6. Methylated Spirit Method:
For this, first, you have to buy a methylated spirit from any
science equipment store. Do the test carefully and do not hold it directly by
hand. Take equal amounts of methylated spirit and honey and keep stirring. If
you see honey being deposited as below, then you will understand that honey is
real. And if the color of the spirit turns white, then you will understand that
the honey is fake.
7. Blotting paper method:
You also need to buy blotting paper from a science store for
this test. Take a few drops of honey on top of the blotting paper. If the honey
slowly penetrates or blends inside the blotting paper, understand that it is
not real honey. Because real honey does not wet the blotting paper.
8. Eye method:
First of all, it is better not to do this. If you take a
drop of pure honey in the eyes, the eyes will be irritated first, then water
will fall from the eyes and at the end of all, there will be a feeling of cold
in the eyes. And if it is not pure honey, then it will not be so. But yes, if
something is given as an adulteration which causes eye irritation, then only
irritation and water will come out; But there will be no cold feeling in the
eyes. In the end, I would like to ask you again not to do this test.
